    1. Yah…it’s really a shame that cultural indifference [in Japan] & government irresponsibility [in the U.S.] are at the core of this becoming so out of control. The effects of this in 5-10 years are going to be horrific one way or another…I can’t believe it’s been over 2 years since that tragedy, and this matter is still very close to my heart.

Glad you feel strongly about it also!

        1. The first thing would be for Japan & the U.S. to swallow their pride & come up with a plan to seal up or redirect the radiation leakage away from the ocean. Only then could perhaps some invention distill the radiation over a period of years.

Regardless, the permanent damage that’ll surely make Pacific shoreline beaches non-swimmable and, of course, the ocean life literally dead in the water will be unprecedented & a historical tragedy. All because of foolish, self-serving government officials who refused to take responsibility in the face of a global emergency.

          1. This makes alot of sense Ren’Ai. I’d love to post this on my blog and your thoughts on the matter. If you ever want to do a guest post on this (cause I’d like to reblog the entire thing along with your comment) I will post it.

In the meantime, I have to research what activists are proposing get done now. Will post that later, after I find out what (we as lay people can do to pressure them to come up with a plan). It seriously IS a global emergency…
